3 free at home workouts

Whether you’re missing the gym, wanting to burn off energy at home, or simply using this lockdown time to get healthier and fitter, here are some workout channels – all free and on Youtube that I’ve been loving.

Heart and Soul Fitness ran by Coach Cozak and his lovely wife Claudia, has been an old favourite of mine for two years now. They have a range of workouts from cardio, to strength training with weights, from 10 minutes to an hour. What I love about their workouts is how motivating and accessible they are. Claudia does slightly easier modifications than Coach Cozak which means that whatever your fitness level, you can make the workout your own. I always finish their workouts feeling like I’ve really pushed myself, and I’ve lost weight the right way by following their workouts over the past two years.

I personally pay for their app as well, for £4.99 a month. This essentially gives me a calendar where the videos that I do every day is in a plan, however this isn’t necessary and all of their videos are on Youtube for free!

Cassey who runs Blogilates is an absolute ray of sunshine, who again has got me through her workouts for the past two years. Her workouts are pop-pilates based – pilates, but faster paced with cardio moves and fun music. She really pushes you to your limits but makes you feel amazing. She also has free calendars, from a beginner calendar (a must if you’re new to her videos), to monthly updated calendars to keep you on track.

Six days a week I workout for one hour in the morning combining the Hasfit calendar and the Blogilates and I love the combination. Blogilates targets specific toning each day, whilst I find that Hasfit finishes me off.

Side note – I’ll have a blog post up soon on my new Vivoactive HR Garmin fitness watch. I’ve been finding it super motivating!

I’ve never been a Yogi, but with all this time on my hand, I wanted to give a dedicated 30 minutes each evening to developing my flexibility and having some me-time. Adriene is hailed as the yoga queen and I can see why. She also has calendars, and I’m currently on day 22 of her ‘Beginner 30 day Yoga’ playlist and I love it. I do her workouts more for mental wellbeing exercise than physical, but already I am finding my balance and flexibility improving and I can see myself carrying on in the future!

Namaste x

Blogilates and Yoga with Adrienne have been so raved about. Similar to you, I’m not a yogi but I’m definitely interested in improving flexibility and balance. Now that I’m stuck at home, there really is no excuse for me not to give these free workouts a try!
