If you saw me open this on Instagram then you’ll know how excited I get receiving Pixi PR packages, you get no forewarning that anything is even coming and so it always feels like a complete treat. Pixi is fast becoming one of my favourite brands. I’ve sworn by their glow and rose tonics for a couple of years now, and when this came gifted through the post, I was so excited to try more of their skincare out.

 * Whilst I’ve been lucky enough to be added to their PR list, I am under no obligation to post about it. *

In the spirit of Mother’s Day, me and my mum sat down and had a little pamper session and  put these to the test.

These are one of my favourite products that Pixi has ever sent me!  At first when I opened it I took one look at the green gel and was so confused; basically you get 30 eye patches in there that all come with a spoon-like tool so that you can scoop them out mess free. They are so cooling and refreshing, I leave them under my eyes for about 10 minutes and then massage the excess serum into my skin and it honestly makes my eyes 10 times brighter. I’m really really impressed, it also feels really relaxing too. If you keep it in the fridge, you’ll get an even better result! They are soaked in hyaluronic acid and caffeine, and it’s just a perfect mix to depuff your under eye area!

This is also one of my favourite products. It claims to be ‘pore clearing and glow-revealing’, and anything that does that is my new best friend. It glides on so smoothly, it reminds me of a charcoal mask (I’ve never used a mud mask before), and I really enjoy using this one. It feels calming and none-irritating and it really does seem to decrease pores. I’ll definitely be using this whenever I have breakouts, even if I do look crazy in it! You leave it on the skin for 15 minutes, and once it’s dry rub it off, and your skin feels like baby skin once more!

This beautiful (and pink) face mask is an enzyme peel, that is meant to clear out dead skin, leaving you with fresh, soft and glowing skin on the surface. I’ve never used an enzyme peel before to my knowledge, and so I was excited to try this. It isn’t my favourite product in the lot, I’ve applied it on my skin and waited a few minutes and washed it off and not noticed much difference, however I’ve found that the best way is to apply it in the shower, and when you’ve finished, to then wash it off. The extra time seems to really make the difference in leaving your skin feeling smooth and revived!

Again this is something completely new that I have never tried before. Generally my go to face mask, is a Dr Botanical charcoal one, however I’ve found that I’ve been reaching for this whenever my skin feels a little dull. It claims to be a purifying face mask, made from a green super food blend to refresh the skin. A little goes a long way, it smells really fresh, and it leaves my skin feeling really moisturised.

As these are so similar to the Glow Tonic, I knew that I’d love this. The glycolic acid brightens your skin, and herbal extracts inside of it helps to improve your skin and keep any imperfections at bay. This is perfect for a little pamper session, it’s beyond refreshing.

I really enjoyed Pixi’s latest releases and will definitely be purchasing the eye and mud mask again! Has anyone tried any of their new skincare? I’d love to know your thoughts!

all my love, Soph x
